Sharing The Sunset

A gentle look into the world of in-home care, as the end of life approaches. Addressing issues common to care at home, including Dementia, Alzheimers, Incontinence, Sleep, Food Preparation, Mobility, Anticipatory Grief, Fear, ALS, and Dignity. Stop. Listen. Look into their eyes. They have much to teach. Loving and caring for them will enrich your life. Learning how to speak to them and care for them will enrich theirs.

About Me

My photo
Ruth
I am a child of God, a wife, mother and grandmother. I provide in-home care for elderly and disabled people on a part-time basis. Full time I provide coaching and products to assist people in reaching their health and/or weight loss goals. My specialties are Diabetics, people who are low in energy, and those who have struggled with their weight for a long time. I love caring for elderly people, and providing a gentle touch to ease their final years or months. My two passions combine when I get to cook for these fragile people. When I'm not working or coaching people, I enjoy feeding our wild birds, taking walks in the mountains, and spending as much time as possible with my grandchildren.
